Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Software Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in guiding and enabling the uplift of our software licencing framework, skills, knowledge and capabilities to reduce risks to the organization.
Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining best practice around our Software Asset Management Framework, identifying software licencing risks and issues, and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders to develop and implement actionable strategies to mitigate and manage these risks and issues.
You will also be responsible for strategically analysing software auditing and metering data to identify and recommend business improvement and optimisation opportunities; working collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders to implement these opportunities.
In addition, you will provide high-level specialist advice to team members, customers and senior management on software licencing risks and issues, proposing management and improvement initiatives to mitigate risks and issues.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain best practice around Software Asset Management policies, procedures, strategies, tools, work instructions and standards.
- Identify software licencing risks and issues and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to develop and implement actionable strategies.
- Analyse software auditing and metering data to identify business improvement and optimisation opportunities; work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders to implement.
- Provide high-level specialist advice on software licencing risks and issues, proposing management and improvement initiatives.
- High level knowledge of Software Asset Management including ability to provide high-level specialist advice and support.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders through various communication methods; adapt communications appropriate to audience.
- Demonstrated high-level research, analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to identify issues and risks across the business and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop solutions.
- High-level understanding and application of ITIL principles in Software Asset Management.
