Join to apply for the Principal Software Licence Specialist role at eHealth QueenslandThe purpose of this role is to support the Software Licence Governance Manager in guiding and enabling the uplift of Queensland Health's software licencing framework, skills, knowledge and capabilities to reduce risks to the organisation.As the Principal Software Licence Specialist, you will assist in leading the team's efforts to improve governance, manage risks and implement optimisation opportunities associated with software licencing.Your key responsibilitiesMaintain best practice around eHealth Queensland\'s Software Asset Management Framework including policies, procedures, strategies, tools, work instructions and standards.Identify software licencing risks and issues and work collaboratively with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders to develop and implement actionable strategies to mitigate and manage these risks and issues.Strategically analyse software auditing and metering data to identify and recommend actionable business improvement and optimisation opportunities; work collaboratively with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders to implement these opportunities.Provide Subject Matter Expert advice to team members, customers and senior management on software licencing risks and issues, proposing management and improvement initiatives to mitigate risks and issues.Role fitHigh level knowledge of Software Asset Management, including the demonstrated ability to provide high level specialist advice and support for software asset management functions in a large organisation.
(SFIA: ASMG level 6, TECH level 5)Demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders through a variety of communication methods (written, verbal, interpersonal etc.); adapts communications appropriate to the audience (SFIA: COMM level 6)Demonstrated high level research, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and risks across the business and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop solutions.
