Job Title: Software Licence Expert

About the Role

The Principal Software Licence Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the software licencing framework of Queensland Health, thereby reducing risks to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain best practice around eHealth Queensland’s Software Asset Management Framework, including policies, procedures, strategies, tools, work instructions and standards.
  • Identify software licencing risks and issues, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders to develop actionable strategies to mitigate and manage these risks and issues.
  • Strategically analyse software auditing and metering data to identify business improvement opportunities, implementing them through collaborative efforts with various teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate high-level knowledge of Software Asset Management, providing specialist advice and support for software asset management functions in large organisations.
  • Effective communication with diverse stakeholders, adapting communication styles to suit the audience.
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, identifying issues and risks across the business and developing solutions collaboratively.
