  • Maintain best practice around eHealth Queensland's Software Asset Management Framework including policies, procedures, strategies, tools, work instructions and standards.
  • Identify software licencing risks and issues and work collaboratively with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders to develop and implement actionable strategies to mitigate and manage these risks and issues.
  • Strategically analyse software auditing and metering data to identify and recommend actionable business improvement and optimisation opportunities; work collaboratively with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders to implement these opportunities.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert advice to team members, customers and senior management on software licencing risks and issues, proposing management and improvement initiatives to mitigate risks and issues.

Role fit

  • High level knowledge of Software Asset Management, including the demonstrated ability to provide high level specialist advice and support for software asset management functions in a large organisation. (SFIA: ASMG level 6, TECH level 5)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders through a variety of communication methods (written, verbal, interpersonal etc.); adapts communications appropriate to the audience (SFIA: COMM level 6)
  • Demonstrated high level research, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and risks across the business and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop solutions. (SFIA: SLMO level 6)
  • Demonstrated high level understanding and application of ITIL principles in Software Asset Management.
