Job Title: Distribution Centre Operations Manager
\The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Operations Management professional with extensive experience in managing high-volume, time-critical distribution centres.
\As the Distribution Centre Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the safe, efficient, and high-performing operations of our distribution centres in ANZ. Your primary goal will be to ensure optimal service, quality, and cost-effectiveness while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the recruitment, development, and motivation of staff to improve processes and performance that support strategic objectives.\
- Work closely with the regional and global inventory team to align inventory and S&OP strategies with business goals.\
- Implement effective and efficient inventory management processes and procedures within the DC.\
- Ensure compliance with all legislative and statutory requirements.\
- Develop and deliver market stock strategy, manage inventory health, and support functional decision-making to secure delivery of optimal ROI.\
- Collaborate with regional and global product and supplier management to accelerate the transition of locally sourced inventory.\
- Lead implementation, adherence, and continuous improvement of the execution of S&OP process.\
- Coordinate markets' indirect procurement and assign cost-saving targets.\
- Foster a culture of openness regarding the reporting of unsafe conditions and/or behaviours.\
- Ensure OHS MS is integrated into business processes and achieves intended outcomes.\
- Responsible for ensuring individual requirements set out in the ISO9001 Quality Management standards are maintained within the market.\
- Drive high-performance of DC through effective leadership, direction, and employee engagement.\
- Provide clear leadership and direction to rectify any operational non-conformances.\
- Establish controls and reporting to ensure high performance and provide leadership and direction.\
- Negotiate with carriers in delivery of freight strategy as agreed with Global Freight Manager.\
- Develop positive industrial and employee relations.\
- Maintain strong quality control processes and report non-compliance from internal and external sources.\
- Manage 3rd-party Logistics contract ensuring contract compliance and maintaining of service levels.\
- Arrange for effective consultation and participation of employees, develop and promote culture of health & safety to support outcomes.\
- Take overall responsibility and accountability for prevention of accidents and ill health.\
- Ensure EH&S committee is in place and direct people to contribute, drive EH&S initiatives and Safety Improvement Plan in ANZ.\
- Align inventory and S&OP strategies with regional and global goals to support business growth and customer satisfaction.\
- Deliver efficient and robust processes and procedures within DC.\
- Work across DC network to provide lowest cost and highest practical customer service levels.\
- Develop full-year budgets for labours, overheads, and capital for DC.\
- Formulate plans to respond to business, market, legislative or environmental developments.\
- Establish relationships across business areas and all levels.\
- Build and maintain relationships across business areas and all levels.\
- Communicate effectively both formally and informally with all levels.\
- Influence team members and management across multiple business areas.\
- Persuade, motivate, and influence team members and management across multiple business areas.\
- Experience in use and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems.\
- Demonstrable understanding of change management and working in a continuous improvement environment.\
- Knowledge and experience of the local market parcel carrier sector.\

- Experience of working within the Electronics and/or Maintenance distribution industries.\
- Experience of working in a global business.\

- Education to degree level or equivalent.\
- Senior management level experience in managing time-critical, high-volume distribution centres.\
- Strong change management skills, both processes and employee leadership.\
- Ability to interpret business/supply chain forecasts and establish cost-effective processes in DC.\
- Ability to communicate effectively both formally and informally with all levels.\
