Front Office Manager Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front office operations in a luxury serviced apartment provider.

  • Resolving guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Leading by example when attending to guest requests, ensuring exceptional service standards are met.
  • Compiling and checking daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts, and vouchers using property management systems.
  • Providing support to food and beverage departments during all day services as required.
  • Responding to guest reviews on online platforms.
  • Conducting general front office administration duties.
  • Entering and reconciling daily accounting data.
  • Developing and motivating the front office team to achieve high performance standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in a similar role within a 4-5 star hotel environment.
  • A customer-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Previous experience with property management and point of sales systems preferably Opera and MICROS.
  • A friendly and outgoing personality.
  • A willingness to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with high computer literacy and accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and understanding of basic accounting processes.
  • A senior First Aid Certificate and RSA certification.

You must also be available to work across a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, late evenings, and overnight shifts as required. Unlimited work rights in Australia are essential.
