Six Degrees Executive is a leading executive search firm specializing in the placement of senior-level professionals in the FMCG industry. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our client's team in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
About the Role
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals to ensure optimal performance and reliability of plant equipment and facilities. This role will also oversee the implementation and improvement of asset management strategies, driving a shift from a reactive to a preventative maintenance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of maintenance professionals to achieve optimal performance and reliability of plant equipment and facilities.
- Oversee the implementation and improvement of asset management strategies.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets.
- Build strong relationships with the team and cross-functionally across the site.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, trade qualification, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated leadership within a maintenance environment, with experience in leading a team and developing individual members.
- Experience leading maintenance within an FMCG or related industry environment.
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance and reliability-focused team, with experience in Lean and CI tools an advantage.
- Ability to develop and manage a maintenance budget.
- Strong people-oriented leadership skills, with the ability to build engagement and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
