Job Title: Environmental Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Non-Executive Director. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise and passion for environmental sustainability to our organization.

About the Role:

  • This is a voluntary position with the option of remuneration.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to attend at least six Board meetings per year, with some meetings held face-to-face and others online.
  • You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team and make a meaningful contribution to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Exercise leadership and strategic direction in ensuring our mission is clear, relevant, and aligned with our values.
  2. Monitor and evaluate our programs and activities to ensure they align with our mission and goals.
  3. Ensure executive performance by setting objectives and evaluating progress.
  4. Provide guidance on financial management, risk assessment, and compliance with governance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in finance, marketing, campaigning, or ecological/science fields.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively and cooperatively.
  • Familiarity with environmental issues and activism.
