Environmental Compliance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Health and Safety Management system.

You will participate in conducting workplace inspections and reporting on any hazards or risks. Additionally, you will promote safe work practices and environmental awareness among the team.

Under guidance, you will assist with maintaining and implementing updating safety procedures, forms, templates, and guides. You will also support the delivery of important Health Management Initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and maintaining our Health and Safety Management system.
  • Participate in conducting workplace inspections and reporting on any hazard or risk.
  • Promote safe work practices and environmental awareness among the team.
  • Under guidance, assist with maintaining and implementing updating safety procedures, forms, templates, and guides.
  • Support the delivery of important Health Management Initiatives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Health, Safety, and Environment is desirable.
  • Interest in learning about Health, Safety, and Environment Legislation acts, regulations, codes of practice, and standards.
  • Intermediate to high level of computer literacy and software skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
