Payroll Officer

Stryker Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Officer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our HR Operations team, you will be responsible for performing monthly, fortnightly, and off-cycle payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of compensation payments to employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct end-to-end payroll processes, including standard compensation, bonus, and commission payments, in line with internal policy and procedures.
- Facilitate and process Express Payments to employees when required.
- Resolve and respond to queries from employees, the business, and third parties.
- Participate in the revision of existing processes and implementation of new processes to ensure smooth workflow in HR Operations and Payroll.
- Conduct investigations related to Payroll and assist in resolving complex payroll matters.
- Maintain the relationship with the external payroll provider as a key contact.
- 3+ years of experience in administering payroll and understanding payroll legislation.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively build relationships with internal customers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage a large work volume at critical times.
- Initiative to work independently and maintain program responsibilities.
- Advanced analytical skills.
