Job Title: Purchasing SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing procurement strategies to meet the company's requirements.The ideal candidate will have a degree in business administration or a related field, and at least one year of experience in procurement and purchasing roles. They will also have extensive knowledge of catalytic converters and the ability to negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices.The role involves preparing and implementing plans for procurement in advance, managing storage and distribution from purchase to delivery, recording inventory transactions, and collaborating with internal teams to address issues and concerns. Additionally, the candidate will engage in regular communication with suppliers, research competitors' strategies, and analyse market trends.To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, adhere to compliance standards, and create value for the company. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.We offer a competitive salary package of $95,000 - $99,000 plus superannuation, a permanent full-time position, and a Monday-Friday 9am-5pm schedule. The location is Victoria, and we prefer candidates with thorough knowledge of catalytic converters. Good communication skills and customer relations are essential for success in this role.Required Skills:
