Job Title: Strategic Payroll Director
About the Role:- We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to lead our team and drive efficiency in our employee experience.
- The ideal candidate will manage the processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles for 3500 employees across various awards, enterprise agreements, and individual contracts.
- This includes ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee entitlements, including PAYG, tax, superannuation contributions, and termination payments.
- A key focus area will be leading process improvement initiatives to enhance the business's use of payroll systems and supporting line leaders in payroll-related matters.
- The successful candidate will also prepare payroll reports for HR, Finance, Management, and Business areas, as well as ad-hoc reports as required.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, Human Resources, or a related field is essential.
- Significant experience in a similar role is necessary, preferably with a strong background in leadership.
- The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of UKG, Payroll Metrics, and iChris software applications.
- A strong financial or commercial acumen is a must, along with a people leadership style that inspires team performance and leads teams through change and optimisation projects.
