Leadership Role for Care Team Manager:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Community Care staff who provide direct care to clients. The role involves ensuring that staff have a good understanding of individual client needs and preferences, and can provide services tailored to the needs of individual clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Community Care staff
  • Mentor and support staff to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Work in partnership with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Manage the recruitment of new staff members
  • Ensure all necessary training and resources are available to staff

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of Home Care Packages Program and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Performance coaching experience and management of a team in a multi-site environment
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites
  • Strong organisational, administrative and computer skills
