Job Description

We are seeking a professional to join our team as an Inclusion Manager. This role will focus on creating and implementing diversity initiatives across the organization.

The successful candidate will have experience in inclusion and diversity, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivity.

They will be responsible for delivering workshops, seminars, and training sessions to promote awareness and understanding of diverse cultures and backgrounds.

  • Bachelor's degree required; HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, Law Degree or Masters degree a plus;
  • Minimum of 12 months continuous inclusion experience within professional services;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, excellent presentation skills;
  • Strong computer literacy, including PowerPoint;
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, strong organization skills;
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of ID&E initiatives in the region;
  • Support the ID&E global team in delivery of key projects to integrate and embed ID&E into the region;
  • Implement diversity awareness education programming, workshops, and seminars to support all personnel and to further drive the long-term embedding and sustainability of ID&E as part of the firm's core approach throughout all aspects of the firm;
  • Attend relevant Sydney-based forums;
  • Manage and work closely with the office ID&E Committees to ensure that initiatives and programs are planned for each year, with input and contribution from Committee members;
  • Work closely with the Australian Office ID&E Committee and Australian management team to drive the Australian ID&E initiatives;
  • Lead ID&E events within the Australian offices;
  • Manage key internal and external annual reporting and compliance requirements for Australia, including WGEA, Employer of Choice for Gender Equality and AWEI, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information, and design and develop business reports;
  • Liaise with external stakeholders across the region (including Pride in Diversity, WGEA);
  • Ensure that committee spending is in line with the ID&E budget;
  • Collaborate with the Firm's business professional teams;
  • Compile, analyze, and maintain internal and external ID&E-related data and metrics, and own and maintain ID&E dashboards to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of ID&E initiatives and strategies;
  • Build relationships with lawyers and business service professionals who participate in the committees, with a focus on the Australian offices;
  • Take part in inter-firm peer support groups and networking opportunities to stay abreast of best practices;
  • Monitor external best practices and relevant external thought leadership.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months of continuous inclusion experience within professional services;
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, Law Degree or Masters degree;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, excellent presentation skills;
  • Strong computer literacy, including PowerPoint;
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, strong organization skills;
