Job Title: Cultural Ambassador

This role is an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge and passion for the Sydney Opera House with visitors from around the world. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for conducting guided tours of the iconic building, highlighting its rich history, architecture, and cultural significance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and informative tours to groups of varying sizes, focusing on the building's design, construction, and cultural importance.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with visitors, answer questions, and provide additional information as needed.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless tour experiences and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills related to the Sydney Opera House and its operations.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior guiding experience an asset but not essential.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
