Food and Beverage Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, where you will create memorable dining experiences for our guests with exceptional service, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service across multiple venues and service styles, from casual a la carte to refined fine dining and large-scale event service.
  • You will work closely with our team to ensure every moment of service is seamless, whether it's a leisurely lunch by the marina or an elegant banquet in one of our event spaces.
Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests with a warm welcome and offer tailored food and beverage recommendations.
  2. Ensure that every guest has a memorable experience by providing attentive service, efficient table management, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  3. Work effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Exceptional customer service skills, ideally gained in a luxury resort or elevated dining environment.
  • A genuine passion for creating dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
  • Strong multitasking skills, with experience in table service, a la carte dining, cleaning, and supporting multiple outlets as needed.
  • An eye for detail, an enthusiastic and approachable nature, and the motivation to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • A current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
  • A friendly persona and professional communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests, colleagues, and third parties.
