We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward to join our hospitality team on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in supporting busy kitchen operations, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and premises whilst adhering to hygienic practices is essential.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, removing rubbish, recycling cardboard, operating the dishwash, manual pot washing and cleaning.

This entry-level role offers an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in the hospitality industry. We are seeking someone who is motivated, has a keen eye for detail and is able to work independently as part of a cohesive team.

To be successful in this position, you must be physically fit to lift heavy items and available to work irregular shifts across a rotating seven-day roster including overnights, holidays and weekends. You must also hold the appropriate work rights to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and premises, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.

Support Services: Assisting with the cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen areas, rubbish removal, cardboard recycling and operating the dishwash.

Teamwork: Working collaboratively as part of a cohesive team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
