Role Overview:

The ICT Sourcing Team Leader position is a key role in shaping the future of ICT sourcing at the Queensland Government. The successful candidate will lead a collaborative team to deliver excellence across the state, ensuring procurement service delivery aligns with agreed service levels, business objectives, and government policies.

The ICT Sourcing Team Leader will oversee and contribute to various aspects of the sourcing process, including analysis and procurement planning, category management, tender development, release, and closure, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, contract drafting, and contract management plans. They will also collaborate with the Manager to develop service provisions to meet stakeholder needs and identify operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the analysis and procurement planning, category management, tender development, release, and closure processes
  • Contribute to the development of contract management plans and mediation strategies
  • Collaborate with the Manager to develop service provisions to meet stakeholder needs
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery

Requirements:

  • Hold or obtain within 12 months of appointment a Level 3 or higher Queensland Government Procurement certification
  • Have a sound understanding of procurement service delivery and experience in applying procurement-related policies, procedures, or frameworks
  • Possess professional communication and collaboration skills
  • Have the legal right to live and work in Australia
