Job Opportunity: ICT Sourcing Team Lead

The position of ICT Sourcing Team Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring procurement service delivery aligns with agreed service levels, business objectives, and government policies.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team in delivering procurement services and category management for stakeholders. As the ICT Sourcing Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to establish procurement strategies and offer expert advice, maintaining a high-level knowledge of whole-of-government and departmental policies, procedures, and standards relevant to the ICT Sourcing function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and contribute to the analysis and procurement planning, category management, tender development, release, and closure, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, contract drafting, and development of contract management plans and mediation.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to develop service provisions to meet the needs of stakeholders and develop appropriate resourcing levels and accompanying training needs required to meet demand.
  • Conduct and coordinate the sourcing and contract process for hardware and software services, including the development and maintenance of Standing Offer Arrangements.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery, while leading or contributing to projects and initiatives that support the organization in achieving its responsibilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold, or successfully obtain within 12 months of appointment, a Level 3 or higher Queensland Government Procurement certification.

You should have a sound understanding of procurement service delivery and experience in applying procurement-related policies, procedures, or frameworks, preferably in a complex public sector or not-for-profit organization.

Professional communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

You must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.
