Job Overview

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader will contribute to our school's mental health and wellbeing initiatives, supporting the overall pastoral care of students and families. This role involves working in classrooms and collaboration with various teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education and pastoral care of students and families, grounded in compassion, inclusion, and dignity.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated support for students.
  • Develop interpersonal and communication skills to build trusting relationships with students, families, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Implement proactive, student-centred approaches to mental health and wellbeing using data and reflective practice.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of whole-school mental health, wellbeing, or learning strategies aligned with best practice frameworks.
Requirements
  • Strong commitment to Catholic faith and Catholic Education.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School (desired).
  • Qualifications in Student Wellbeing (desired).
  • Recent success and experience in a leadership/wellbeing position.
  • Current registration, inclusive of a Criminal Record check.
  • Commitment to Child Safe Standards and the wellbeing of students.
