Job Overview

This technical leadership role combines expertise in system administration, IT asset management, stakeholder support, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end support across desktop, server, and enterprise systems.

  1. Maintain Active Directory, Azure AD, and user access controls to ensure secure network operations.
  2. Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets - procurement, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning - to optimize resource utilization.
  3. Evaluate licensing compliance and generate reports for usage, inventory, and audit readiness to prevent potential issues.
  4. Lead the implementation of internal controls, policies, and technical documentation to maintain organizational efficiency.
  5. Contribute to business continuity by participating in incident response, disaster recovery, and after-hours maintenance as needed.

The ideal candidate should possess deep technical proficiency in both Windows and Linux environments, a strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), endpoint security, and experience managing IT assets and systems using tools like SNIPE, JSM or Jira.

Key Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a senior or mentoring role in IT operations is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) and familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and JAMF are essential.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices around incident, change, and asset management is desirable.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL or Cisco can be beneficial.
