The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Manager to lead and mentor our technical support team. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will apply your technical expertise while guiding a close-knit team towards operational excellence.
Your primary focus will be Access Control and you will have a strong background with Tecom, Inner Range (Integriti/Inception), Gallagher, or similar enterprise-grade access control system. You will also oversee technical support across CCTV, Access Control, VMS, Servers, and much more.
This role offers the opportunity to shape technical standards, strengthen customer relationships, and drive continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the technical team, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
- Provide advanced technical expertise in access control, CCTV, intercom, and integrated systems.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and quality control to exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to stay at the forefront of new technologies and training opportunities.
- Support the sales team in designing solutions that meet client needs.
- Build strong client relationships through technical leadership and proactive support.
- Deliver ongoing training and upskilling for both internal teams and external clients.
About You
- Proven expertise with enterprise-level access control systems (Tecom, Inner Range, Gallagher, or similar).
- Experience in a senior technician or leadership role within the electronic security industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and grow a technical team.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational abilities.
- Exposure to VMS platforms, servers, and integrated physical security solutions.
- Australian citizenship is required for this position.
