Job Title: Technical Systems Specialist

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Specialist to join our team in Victoria, Australia. As a technical authority on protection relay systems, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with sales and channel teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Provide technical support, design consultation, and compliance guidance for pre-sales and tender opportunities.
  • Lead technical training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interpret single-line diagrams, coordinate protection studies, and develop optimized relay settings.
  • Support solution proposals with accurate, well-documented technical material.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years' experience in protection systems, preferably in the Australian market.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC, ANSI, and Australian protection standards.
  • Practical experience with Schneider Electric protection relays or equivalent platforms.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and system design layouts.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
