Job Overview:

The organisation is seeking an ICT Support Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems. You will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and conducting routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Conducting system upgrades and performing routine maintenance tasks such as updating software, patching operating systems, and ensuring security systems are up-to-date.
  • Maintaining an inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software, and tracking asset allocation and lifecycle.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation of the IT infrastructure, including configuration details, operating procedures, and system diagrams.
  • Managing user accounts, access controls, and permissions, ensuring that only authorised users have access to the appropriate systems and data.
