Rehabilitation Consultant

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, collaborating with clients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' strengths, weaknesses, and needs
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans
  • Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and provide ongoing support and guidance
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless service delivery

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication
  • Contribute to the development of organizational policies and procedures related to rehabilitation services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of rehabilitation services

Requirements:

  • Current registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA or AASW)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Passion for helping people achieve their goals and regain independence
