Employee Relations Specialist

The Employee Relations Advisor at HelloFresh Australia is a key member of our HR team, responsible for providing expert guidance on employee and industrial relations matters. This role involves advising stakeholders on compliance with relevant legislation and regularly updating processes and policies to reflect best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide HR generalist advice on employee relations issues, including performance management, grievances, and investigations.
- Lead confidential investigations with fairness and integrity.
- Ensure strong compliance with relevant legislation, governing industrial instruments, policies, and procedures.
- Keep up to date with current legislation and advise the organisation on compliance and risk.
- Engage with stakeholders on discussions around employee relations matters.
- Work closely with the Payroll, Workforce Planning, and Workplace Health and Safety teams on labour initiatives, process improvements, Award compliance, and employee matters.
- Ensure annualised salaries and wage arrangements remain compliant following Fair Work's annual wage increase announcement and/or following any changes to rosters.
- Identify and implement process and procedure improvements across the business as required.
- Interact with Unions as required.
- Engage with external providers to gain advice on ER/IR matters.
- Facilitate training for managers and employees on HR practices, procedures, Awards, legislation, and other relevant areas as required.
- Support with the roll out of HR initiatives across the business.
- At least 1-3 years' experience in a generalist human resources or employee relations specialist role.
- Previous experience in fast-paced working environments.
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end investigation processes.
- Proven ability providing strong ER/IR support and advice to managers.
