About the Role

G8 Education is a leading provider of early education and care services in Australia, with over 420 centres across the country. We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our People and Culture Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate employment-related guidance and support to managers and employees on industrial and employee relations matters.
  • Support and coordinate employee relations activities through data analysis, audit, and compliance efforts.
  • Ensure the application of People and Culture policies and processes across the business to minimize risk.
  • Provide advice and interpret applicable Awards, IR legislation, and People and Culture policies to support internal stakeholders.
  • Research and review relevant legislation to update and maintain internal documentation.
  • Coordinate and assist with employee relations matters, including grievances and disputes.
  • Administer, collect, and analyze data to ensure continuous compliance with employment legislation and Awards.
About You

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and engaging work environment. You will have a strong background in HR, employment law, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be a collaborative and professional individual with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
