The Opportunity


We are seeking a finance professional to join our Marketplace Quality team.


This role is unique compared to traditional internal audit or financial control positions.


As a Financial Control Specialist, you will oversee the timely completion of financial back-office workflows performed by Visory Experts.


Your primary objective is to ensure an extremely low error rate in the services delivered to customers within the Marketplace.


Leveraging the Visory platform and its tools, you will be responsible for maintaining quality at scale.


You will utilise your extensive technical knowledge to identify and remediate risks, maintain up-to-date process documentation, and provide recommendations for improvement.


We are looking for someone eager to break the mold, leveraging their expertise in audit or financial control to help build and manage quality control frameworks across a growing marketplace of SMEs and bookkeepers.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform comprehensive audits of payroll and bookkeeping services to verify financial accuracy and identify any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Adhere to established quality control standards and audit procedures to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Identify and address risks and control deficiencies promptly.
  • Keep financial documentation, including internal records and audit reports, up to date.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for enhancing internal controls and processes, as well as platform features.

Requirements


  • Strong background in auditing or financial control.
  • Ability to work with customers and internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Experience in managing audits and maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • CA Qualified highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Lateral thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
