Government Relations Executive
">This role is part of the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team, responsible for government relations, reputation, corporate communications, and sustainability professionals. As a key member, you will work collaboratively with senior leadership to develop government engagement strategies that maximize impact in areas of strategic significance to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain working relationships with key government stakeholders across state, territory, and federal governments to ensure effective government engagement on issues of strategic significance.
• Provide advice to senior leadership and build their capacity to effectively engage with government to achieve organizational objectives.
• Support the execution of government relations strategies and monitor progress.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar corporate setting.
• 5+ years experience in a government relations advisory role in Australia.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus on complex issues.
• Excellent people skills and proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships.
