Job Title: Government Liaison Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Government Liaison Coordinator to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Minister's Office, ensuring seamless communication between departments and stakeholders.

About the Role:
  • Act as a single point of contact for the Minister's Office, collating and responding to requests for information in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide expert advice on Ministerial correspondence, ensuring it meets Department and Government-wide guidelines and procedures.
  • Analyse issues and facilitate responses in accordance with structured methods and guidelines.
  • Prepare tailored reports for the Minister's office on correspondence and briefing items, promoting efficient progression through relevant channels.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Communication and Correspondence: Provide exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaison with stakeholders, including Ministers, departmental staff, and external parties.
  2. Advice and Guidance: Offer expert advice on Ministerial correspondence, policy development, and implementation, ensuring alignment with Department and Government-wide guidelines.
  3. Issue Analysis and Response: Analyse complex issues, identify implications, and develop appropriate responses in accordance with structured methods and guidelines.
  4. Reporting and Briefing: Prepare comprehensive reports and briefs for the Minister's office, highlighting key issues, recommendations, and next steps.
