Our aquatic and leisure centre is a leader in the provision of health and leisure services in Victoria. We are seeking an experienced team leader to join our Guest Experience team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training and developing all Guest Experience staff to meet new member and program enrolment sales targets and KPIs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and drive innovation within the business.

The role requires a strong people leader with experience in sales and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the leadership team and key stakeholders to develop and execute plans that drive business growth.

The Manager's key accountabilities include:

  • Meeting monthly new member and program enrolment targets and associated KPIs
  • Meeting monthly retail budgets and stock control KPIs
  • Maintaining NPS and mystery shop scores in line with KPIs adopted by the company
  • Working with and supporting the Centre Manager to implement corrective action plans, specifically related to meeting monthly membership and program enrolment targets
  • In consultation with the Centre Manager, setting new member and growth targets on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Leading by example by providing exceptional customer centric guest experiences in person and over the phone to existing and prospective members and guests
  • Processing memberships and data entry in line with company processes
  • Setting rosters in line with the business needs and the four principles of time and attendance
  • Demonstrating behaviours that are consistent with the company values

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • A National Police Check
  • A Working with Children Check
  • A current CPR Certificate
  • A current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
  • Licence to work in Australia
