Perioperative Clinical Excellence Leader

As a seasoned leader in the perioperative field, you will be responsible for driving excellence in clinical governance, professional standards, and operational best practice across all perioperative departments.
- Elevate perioperative care by implementing robust governance frameworks and ensuring that teams are staffed with skilled professionals who operate within a forward-thinking framework responsive to evolving healthcare trends.
- Develop and maintain safe, high-quality, and patient-centred perioperative care protocols.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with our national network to shape capability and direction of perioperative services.
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- Current registration with a relevant nursing or midwifery regulatory body.
- Recent experience as a Floor Coordinator, Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), POSM or Theatre Educator, preferably within a similar facility with more than 5 years' experience overall.
- A proven track record of overseeing and managing multiple specialties within the Perioperative department.
- A strong working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks.
This position demands advanced clinical expertise, evidence-based methodologies, and a proven record of professional leadership, effective team contribution, mentorship, and adept problem-solving abilities.
