About the Role:The perioperative nurse will work collaboratively with our team in undertaking peri-operative nursing care, delivering evidence-based care, and ensuring patient and staff safety.
- Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- 18 months' minimum experience as an RN – Scrub Scout
- Proven experience in Orthopaedic Perioperative lists
- Valid NSW Working with Children check for Employment
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
