Job Overview:

This role involves leading and managing a team of investigators responsible for managing investigations into complaints, allegations of misconduct by employees and allegations of child abuse.

The Manager will oversee the management of a team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to carry out their roles effectively.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in an investigations environment, excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills, and a successful record of managing and leading teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of Child Safety Investigators
  • Carry a small load of investigations into complaints, allegations of misconduct by department employees and allegations of child abuse
  • Provide expert advice and support to people managers and delegated decision-makers
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators
