Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter to join our dynamic underwriting team in Sydney.
This role will involve:
- Developing business opportunities within the Professional Indemnity segment
- Managing a Professional Indemnity portfolio consisting of accountants, engineers, real estate agents, and Design & Construction professionals
- Communicating DUAL's underwriting appetite to broking partners
- Developing and maintaining broker relationships
- Analyzing and approving referrals for junior staff
- Contributing to the training and development of underwriting staff
About You
You will be a motivated and experienced professional indemnity insurance professional looking to join our hard-working Underwriting team in Sydney.
You will have a strong understanding of professional indemnity insurance and be client-oriented.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence in managing multiple clients, including both renewals and new business, and be comfortable providing training, mentorship, and coaching to fellow staff as well as presenting to external clients.
Your communication skills and passion for quality service will allow you to effectively build and maintain successful relationships and manage service standards by timely response to broker requests.
