Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage raw material inventory levels to meet production schedule requirements.
  • Ensure timely arrival and confirmation of all material requirements from outside suppliers and globally.
  • Resolve stock out issues to avoid compromising production and customer delivery deadlines.
  • Support commercialisation process through launch of new products.
  • Work closely with Procurement Team on material requirements and supply issues.
  • Generate and report on weekly 'At Risks' materials and flag projected stock shortfalls.
  • Develop clear action plans for slow moving stocks to reduce stock write-off risk.
  • Manage and review master data settings, including safety stocks and lead times.
  • Analyse system downloads to provide raw material requirement forecasts to suppliers.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Theory and inventory/materials planning.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills, with knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with different functions and levels.
  • Ability to tackle complex issues, work to tight deadlines, and strive for continuous improvement.
