Inventory Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage raw material inventory levels to meet production schedule requirements.
- Ensure timely arrival and confirmation of all material requirements from outside suppliers and globally.
- Resolve stock out issues to avoid compromising production and customer delivery deadlines.
- Support commercialisation process through launch of new products.
- Work closely with Procurement Team on material requirements and supply issues.
- Generate and report on weekly 'At Risks' materials and flag projected stock shortfalls.
- Develop clear action plans for slow moving stocks to reduce stock write-off risk.
- Manage and review master data settings, including safety stocks and lead times.
- Analyse system downloads to provide raw material requirement forecasts to suppliers.
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Theory and inventory/materials planning.
- Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills, with knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience an advantage).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with different functions and levels.
- Ability to tackle complex issues, work to tight deadlines, and strive for continuous improvement.
