Inventory Controller Role

About Us

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory policy and future material requirements.

The Opportunity

This role involves analysing information to make recommendations for future procurements, stock holdings, safety stock and/or reorder models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understanding of Obsolescence, Disposal and Repairable management.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to produce future material forecasts.
  • Identify trends in use, loss and replenishment of stock and customer demands.
  • Management of KPI's including reporting and root cause and corrective action plans.
  • Manage stock holding levels including Min Max and Safety Stock.
The Requirements

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Inventory Management or related discipline.
  • The ability to work accurately and unsupervised, and the ability to prioritise work as required and manage external/internal resources.
  • Ability to manipulate data and produce useful insights.
  • Tertiary qualification in a Business, ILS, CIPS, ASCM or other professional qualifications or related discipline is desired.
  • Understanding of Defence Contracting policies and procedures.
  • Australia citizenship to meet Australian Defence security requirements.
