Inventory Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at our world-class production facility in Crestmead.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a proven track record of success in inventory control and logistics. If you have experience working with ERP systems, preferably JDE or Oracle based, and are proficient in analysis and forecasting, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate monthly stocktakes for all goods at both locations
  • Prepare and review monthly inventory reports, analyzing stock on hand, par levels, and consumption rates
  • Track incoming and outgoing goods, as well as work-in-progress (WIP)
  • Monitor stock levels using software systems, adhering to customer change requirements and ad-hoc orders
  • Coordinate the movement of stock between locations when required
  • Support the Procurement Manager with strategy, processes, and organizational goals
  • Assist with onsite audits at catering and warehouse locations
  • Work closely with the Planning team to anticipate forecasted future supply
  • Inform customers of inventory updates and schedule changes
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify discrepancies, including invoicing

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in a similar role with a strong work ethic
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and commercial maturity to adapt to changing market conditions
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within Logistics and Inventory Control
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably JDE or Oracle based
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in Analysis and Forecasting
  • Available to travel within Queensland between Gold Coast and Brisbane
  • Ability to work independently, organize, and manage your own workload
