About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at Club Wyong, a leading hospitality provider in the Mounties Group. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dining options while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Manage efficient and high-quality food preparation, maintaining presentation and consistency of food served.
  • Service and Function Meals: Service and prepare for all bistro and function meals, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and complete stock rotations to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Food Handling and Cleaning: Ensure compliance to food handling practices and general cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve high-quality food production and presentation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous Kitchen Experience: Proven experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Certification: Hold a Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery and a Food Handling certificate.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and guests.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
