About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at Frontline Recruitment. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations, preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients, and adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including the storage and disposal of food waste, and the cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items, and to improve existing dishes, using your creativity and culinary expertise.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP procedures, and ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with these standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a fine dining restaurant, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification, demonstrating your expertise and knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and communication.
  • Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of a busy kitchen environment.
