Infrastructure Cost Manager

We are seeking a skilled Cost Controller to join our team for the HumeLink West project. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong focus on cost trending and forecasting, establishing and monitoring project baseline budgets, producing regular end of month cost reports, maintaining risk registers to include change impacts, and monitoring and reporting on cost actuals vs budget.
The role requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be highly developed in communication, negotiation, and influencing skills and able to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Accountabilities:- Provide strong focus on cost trending and forecasting
- Establish and monitor project baseline budgets
- Produce regular end of month cost reports
- Maintain risk registers to include change impacts
- Monitor and report on cost actuals vs budget,
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, engineering, finance or similar preferred
- Minimum 5 years practical experience on major infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience with cost management tools (excel, SAP, Power Bi, SharePoint, JDE)
