Project Cost Management plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

The HumeLink West project is a significant development connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle, and Bannaby in regional NSW. As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for providing expert cost management support to ensure the project's financial objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost forecasts and trend analysis.
  • Establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring compliance with established parameters.
  • Produce regular cost reports, highlighting key variances and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain risk registers, incorporating potential change impacts and mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with the Project Control Manager (PCM) for compiling and submitting client progress claims.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, engineering, finance, or similar fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience on major infrastructure projects, with a proven track record in cost management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cost management tools, including Excel, SAP, Power BI, SharePoint, and JDE.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, coupled with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
