Client Services Professional

The role of the Client Services Professional is multifaceted, encompassing various aspects of client service. These include:

  • Communication with clients to address their queries and concerns.
  • Managing investor onboarding and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes in accordance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations.
  • Processing applications from investors, ensuring timely execution and seamless experience.
  • Coordinating capital calls and unit register administration to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Performing end-of-period interest payment processing and reconciliation tasks to maintain accuracy and transparency.

This position also involves addressing client service inquiries from both domestic and international clients, as well as translating essential documents into Mandarin where required.

For this role, we seek an individual possessing a degree in finance or a related field, proficient in Chinese (Mandarin) at or near native level, and possessing strong English skills.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of Asian cultural norms, values, and business etiquette, enabling effective client engagement and relationship management.

We require strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and an interest in financial markets and commercial real estate.

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multitask, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Detailed Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients and distribution team members to ensure seamless communication.
  • Process onboarding forms in a timely manner.
  • Conduct KYC in accordance with AML/CTF Policy.
  • Create and manage investor applications.
  • Email investor applications to clients for prompt action.
  • Process investor applications efficiently.
  • Address investor application queries in a professional manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding applications to ensure resolution.
  • Match incoming funds with applications and issue unit certificates accurately.
  • Process redemptions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Review interest payment calculations to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform month-end reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Maintain the CRM database for efficient client information management.
