Your New Role

The Village Manager will be the friendly and capable go-to person for residents, staff and contractors. They will manage day-to-day operations of the village, build strong relationships with residents, coordinate maintenance and service teams, and ensure all compliance and safety requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respectful, person-centred service to Retirement Village contract holders.
  • Support residents' wellbeing, independence, and sense of connection.
  • Liaise with Asset and Housing teams to coordinate maintenance and refurbishment works.
  • Manage records, correspondence, and reporting using Uniting systems.
  • Help foster an inclusive, respectful, and harmonious village culture.
  • Participate in budget planning and support annual meetings with residents.
Requirements

A calm, level-headed and professional approach is required. Strong organisational and time management skills are essential. Great communication and conflict resolution skills are also necessary. A warm, welcoming personality with a genuine desire to support older people to live well and independently is vital.
