The YMCA Brisbane offers a dynamic and supportive work environment for our Programs Coordinator position. This role is based at our Springfield Lakes Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service, where we provide high-quality care to children from 6:15 am to 6 pm.

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Programs Coordinator. The successful candidate will assist the Service Coordinator in managing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and supporting the development of quality programs.
  • This permanent, part-time position involves working 34.5 hours per week during school term and up to 38 hours during vacation care time.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing quality programs that meet the needs of our children
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the service, including staff supervision and administrative tasks
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including attendance, enrolment, and incident reports
  • Collaborating with the management team to achieve service goals and objectives
  • Providing excellent customer service to families and the school community

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or a related field
  • Proven experience in childcare or a related industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
