Event Planning Specialist Job Description:

As a skilled Event Planning Specialist, you will oversee the entire event process from initial inquiries and proposals to contracts, planning, and delivery, ensuring every conference or event exceeds expectations.

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning including venue management, contract negotiation, invoicing, vendor liaison, and internal departments
  • Qualify and confirm event proposals aligned with business objectives
  • Negotiate contracts, book venues, and coordinate catering, audio-visual, and other logistical arrangements

The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and relationship-building skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and time management. Problem-solving ability and a collaborative mindset are also essential.

  • 6+ months' experience in a similar role within tourism or hospitality
