About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Specialist to play a strategic role in the management of human resources and the development of a workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for their first step into human resource leadership. As a key member of our team, you will focus on workforce development, recruitment, succession planning, diversity and inclusion activities and staff wellbeing.

You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement effective people strategies to enhance our organisation's reputation and attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain legislative and policy compliance;
  • Develop and implement effective people strategies to enhance our organisation's reputation;

You will be supported by a Human Resources Officer who will handle transactional and administrative tasks, giving you the ability to focus on strategy and implementation.

We work across projects to conserve native flora and fauna, manage pest plants and animals, and improve the health of the wetlands and floodplains along the River Murray.
