Business Support Officer

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Support Officer to join our team at Peppergreen Farm, a social enterprise of WISE Employment Ltd.

About the Role

This part-time position is based in Bendigo and involves providing administrative and business support to Peppergreen Farm. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to Peppergreen Farm, including data entry, budget rostering, and payroll processing.
  • Establish and update databases to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
  • Run reports on a daily basis to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable as required.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to email enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar administration and business support role.
  • Proficiency in using office software and tools, including Microsoft Office and file management systems.
  • Good understanding of system databases and software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to problem solve in a constructive and collaborative way.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
