About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Support Officer to join our team at Peppergreen Farm in Bendigo. As a Business Support Officer, you will provide administrative and business support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Peppergreen Farm team, including data entry, timesheets, and budget rostering.
  • Ensure payroll is ready for processing on a fortnightly basis.
  • Establish and update databases, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Run reports on a daily basis.
  • Assist with data entry of accounts payable and receivable when required.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to email enquiries when required.
Requirements
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Check.
  • Ability to pass a Working with Children Check.
  • Ability to pass an NDIS Workers Screen.
  • Demonstrated experience in AP/AR and payroll functions.
  • Proficiency in using office software and tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and file management systems.
  • Good understanding of system databases and software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to problem solve in a constructive and collaborative way.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships and communicate with the wider team.
  • Experience working with people from vulnerable backgrounds (desirable) or a willingness to learn.
