Mental Health Professional for Older Adults in Northern Melbourne

At Northern Health Authority, we are seeking an experienced mental health professional to join our team as a Community Older Adult Mental Health Clinician.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires you to provide assessment, treatment, coordination of care, and discharge planning for older adults with complex mental health issues, frailty, and/or comorbidities who reside in their own homes or residential aged care facilities (RACFs) in the northern region of Melbourne.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in community mental health settings and possess excellent communication skills to support consumers, carers, and family members to develop and utilize strategies for recovery. You will also have the ability to prioritize risk and respond effectively to crises.
